Why attend a Fair?

7 good reasons why your company should be at one of our Fairs:

 1. A unique resource to meet qualified candidates in just one day (or two days); our Fair visitors are experienced and attracted by the presence of leading employers

 2. Direct and personalised meetings with qualified employement seekers

 3. A quick, efficient and economical recruitment process: reducing your cost per hire, optimising the use of time for your on-site recruiting team

 4. Update your CV Bank

 5. Increased visibility and enhanced corporate image as a leader within your industry and as a preferred employer - all thanks to your booth at the Fair

 6. The opportunity to benefit from a large-scale media campaign

 7. A to Z logistical support, provided by our attentive team of experts

Advice and Tips on how to be successful at your Event:

 1. Establish your action plan for the day. Determine the objectives targeted by your organisation and your participation at the Career Fair: identification of positions to be filled, profiles of candidates required.

 2. Draft the details of your job offers and start thinking about your display layout.

 3. Make sure that the company representatives participating at the Fair are fully aware of your needs and that they are knowledgeable with regards to your organisation and the positions you are looking to fill.

 4. Don't forget to bring employment forms and information documents relating to your organisation.

 5. When on location, always smile and maintain an open attitude towards Fair visitors. Avoid long conversations and may misconstrue your lack of interest in them as a lack of seriousness in your company's recruiting strategy.

 6. Try not to place your booth table so that it creates a barrier between you and your visitors. It is recommended that the table be left towards the back of the booth to allow for easy access when greeting employment seekers.

 7. After meeting with a candidate, take a few notes and staple them to the individual's CV. Implement a classification system for the CVs you receive based on your level of interest and your human resource requiremets.

 8. In the days following the Fair, review your participation at the Career Fair and follow-up as quickly as possible with the candidates in whom you are most interested.

 9. Our survey of job candidates found that some employers ask job seekers to upload their CVs onto their company's website. Job seekers are left wondering why they took the trouble of going to the Job Fair, given that the objective of the Fair is to promote face-to-face meetings. If you want the CVs of candidates to be uploaded directly into your virtual CV bank, we ask you - as a courtesy - to invite candidates to upload their CVs by means of a computer in your booth.
